A farewell for now from Swift Seats
To everyone who supported this site, thank you for the kind words over the past few weeks. I hope that it was able to help you. To those who shared their success stories, hearing those stories makes it worth it a million times over.
There were a decent number of people in the SWT discord successful in the day-of drops. I’m not going to bother to get graphs together because they’re just going to make me disappointed to look at. Seeing TM drop tickets as late at 9:30 (literally after champagne problems) during the final show was really disheartening.
But at the end of the day, the Eras era is over, and we had SO MANY successes across the tour. I’ve been in the SWT discord for something like a year and a half at this point, and there are a lot of my friends and family that have this community, and all the knowledge shared here, for their ability to have attended the tour. I started out knowing nothing, and learned so much through the community, and putting up this site was my way of giving back, and I’m glad to have seen so many people benefit from it. So many that it crashed multiple times… leading to me literally coding on my phone to get it back up for you all - but it was important to me that everyone could access it if at all possible.
Seeing this community band together against a force that was literally a black box at the beginning of the tour, and was about as known of a quantity as it could have possible been without someone literally inside TM feeding us information, was so incredible to me. Having 70,000+ people in the server is cool to begin with, but it also is so incredibly valuable for everyone to be able to crowdsource information to help draw conclusions to figure out the black box. This all would not have been possible without you, so thank you for your help, for your patience, and for your generosity to the SWT team, in the way of tickets, kind words, and donations.
What’s next
My goal is to take all of this code I’ve written for inventory monitoring, and to make it more applicable to other TM sales. The queue monitoring for random drops will hopefully not be needed (though I will stow those files away for if they’re needed again). But my vision currently is for you to be able to select from a list of events (or maybe even just paste in a TM link) - and then be able to see the inventory for that event.
Be on the lookout, and in the meantime I will be trying to get things up and running in the same capacity we had this past week for the Gracie Abrams presales this week at this link https://swiftinv.vercel.app/gracie
Thank you again, and please don’t ever become a stranger 🫶🏼
